Looking for a hands-on sales leader in Sydney who's strategic input and sales acumen will be crucial in sculpting the company's future. The Company Our client is a pioneer in data quality solutions, renowned for their commitment to providing accurate and reliable data verification software. With over 3000 clients across Australia and New Zealand, they offer a suite of technology that is ever-expanding with the markets needs. Their success is underpinned by a dedication to intuitive product design, industry-leading data quality, and a customer-centric approach. As they embark on their next phase of growth, they are seeking a dynamic sales executive to join their team in Sydney.

The Role In this newly created role, you will be instrumental in driving new business within the fintech, ecommerce, utilities, IT services, government, and higher education and property sectors. Initially the sales team will consist of you and your chosen Account Executive. Together you will leverage a substantial lead database of 1500 prospects and a blend of direct sales and partnerships with the responsibility to expand our client's market presence in Australia and scale a successful GTM team over time. This role is ideal for a self-motivated hands-on sales executive eager to take ownership of a burgeoning market and drive strategic growth initiatives. To be clear, initially this is a hand-on sales role leading a team of 1 other, with a view to grow over time.

You

  • Experience in software or technology sales, with a proven track record in new business acquisition and exceeding sales targets.

  • Experience in leading a small to medium sales team, with a focus on leading from the front through hands-on selling, coaching and creating a winning sales culture.

  • Familiarity with key markets such as ecommerce, fintech, utilities, government, IT services and higher education, and the ability to navigate these sectors to drive sales.

  • You bring experience and knowhow when it comes to creating GTM motions, leveraging sales tech stacks and an intelligent approach to enable efficient and effect GTM campaigns and initiatives.

  • Independent, with a demonstrated ability to work autonomously, manage a territory, and lead a small growing sales team.

  • Strong alignment with core values of integrity, sustainability, and customer-centricity, with a passion for building lasting, authentic relationships.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the capability to present complex solutions clearly and persuasively.
