The Role

This newly created role is designed for a proactive and dynamic Account Executive ready to make a significant impact. Reporting directly to the UK and taking over a well-established territory across Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, and the Philippines, you'll focus on:

  • New Business Development: Identifying, nurturing, and closing opportunities across diverse sectors including manufacturing, food & beverage, education, healthcare, and utilities.

  • Existing Customer Management: Working closely with a portfolio of current clients to support their migration from on-premises to SaaS solutions, building trust, and driving customer success.

  • Strategic Market Growth: Engaging in collaborative marketing efforts, attending trade shows (e.g., Australian Manufacturing Week), and contributing to the expansion of the company in Australasia.

  • Product Training & Support: Hosting product demonstrations, delivering training sessions, and ensuring customers extract maximum value from the software.

This role offers substantial autonomy – think of it as running your own business – while receiving support from an established global organization.


You

We're looking for a self-driven sales professional who can hit the ground running and thrive in a role that balances independence with collaboration. You will ideally have:

  • Proven Software Sales Experience: A strong track record in selling SaaS or enterprise software solutions, particularly in new business development.

  • Industry Expertise: Familiarity with engineering, manufacturing, or asset management industries is a bonus. You’ll need the ability to connect with technically minded clients, such as maintenance engineers or facilities managers.

  • Technical Aptitude: While not an engineer, you’re comfortable with technical discussions (e.g., can grasp concepts like preventative maintenance, asset lifecycle, or compliance standards).

  • Entrepreneurial Spirit: A self-starter mindset with the ability to work autonomously, manage a territory, and think strategically to grow market share.

  • Exceptional Communication Skills: Adept at building trust with stakeholders, delivering compelling presentations, and navigating complex sales cycles.

  • Cultural Fit: Humble, down-to-earth, and collaborative, you align with a company culture that values teamwork, innovation, and customer success.
